Pomerol / Bordeaux / France
Château Petrus has a huge following across the globe. Often seen in the press holding record prices being paid for the very best vintages that have been produced.
Since 2010 this legendary Château has stopped the making of it's second wine making this wine even more exclusive and desirable. In the 1960's the popularity in the US was massively increased resulting in the wine becoming a status symbol, which it still is today.
With production levels being a low 30,000 bottles in a year, the desire for this wine is only increasing, along with the prices. Many people fine themselves looking for that second wine only to now be disappointed. In 1987 the Château famously used helicopters to dry the grapes so they could start picking.
